Competition barbecue at it's best!
Seabrisket started by attending the World Championship Barbecue
in Memphis in 2002.
It was all down hill from there. We met some great competitors
and made some greater friends!
It was here where we started learning what it takes to cook real
barbecue. Several teams taught us techinques and tricks to be
successful competitors. The tips don't come free...we busted hump
at some barbecues and peeled plenty of potatos before we ever got
near a pit.
The lifetime friendships that develop and the good times at the
competitions make it all worth the work involved! Competitors,
judges, organizers, and volunteers all make it happen. The winning
is a bonus!
